Sam Asks:
What’s the quickest way to lose the fat around my gut?
Alex’s Answer:
Sam, everyone responds differently to different methods and unfortunately, the gut is one of the last places the fat comes off. My best advice for this question would be an effective combination of what you eat and how you exercise.
With regards to your nutrition, stay away from sources of high saturated fat. Watch your portion sizes too. It’s better to eat smaller snacks or meals often, than it is to wait for long periods and gorge. This will also help you have consistently higher levels of energy for the exercise you will be doing. Exercise sessions should consist of a good 30-40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise such as brisk walking, jogging, cycling, or swimming and should be done 3 times per week building up to 5 sessions. A resistance or weight programme would also benefit for a metabolism boost. I would suggest seeing a fitness instructor at your local gym so that they can tailor a programme to your fitness levels.
Good Luck!
